Job Description:
The Emergency Department (ED) at Beth Israel Deaconess (BID) - Plymouth Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for a full-time position for our Plymouth, Massachusetts location.
This is an outstanding opportunity for high energy, experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the staff of our dynamic, highly regarded ED practitioners of Longwood Specialty Physicians (LSP).
The APP will provide direct patient care relative to physical diagnosis and therapeutic management for patients in the ED working under the supervision of a licensed physician. Position highlights include:
Working in a robust ED (45,000+ annual ED visits)
Having patient management and physician support in the main ED
Being part of a fully democratic, physician-led practice
Receiving malpractice insurance
Working in an exciting and collaborative environment with standardized clinical practices, quality systems, and fully integrated Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure excellence in patient care.
Job Requirements
Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Massachusetts State Licensure
MA Board Authorization to Practice Licensure
American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred but not required
Valid prescriptive authority from both the MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA
Experience working in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center
Competency in provision of care to patients of all ages

Pay Range:
$90,000 - $150,000The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
