Position Summary

The Department of Neurology at BIDMC is seeking a full-time outpatient Neurologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

This position includes 8 clinical sessions, with an ideal clinical distribution of 50% General Neurology. The remaining 50% is flexible and open to multiple subspecialties, based on the interests and expertise of the successful candidate and the needs of the department.

The role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered neurologic care within a collaborative outpatient practice environment.

If applicable: The candidate will be appointed to the full-time faculty of Harvard Medical School at an academic rank commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology

  • Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts

  • Commitment to outpatient clinical neurology

  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Subspecialty training or interest welcomed

Pay Range:

$185,000 - $355,000

The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
