Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end payroll for employees while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and Philippine labor regulations
Manage regular payroll processing based on company payroll schedules (monthly or semi-monthly)
Prepare and transmit payroll remittance files for employee salary crediting
Review and validate attendance, overtime, leaves, holiday pay, night differential, commissions, incentives, allowances, and other payroll-related data
Generate payroll registers, variance reports, accounting reports, and payroll-related documentation
Ensure timely and accurate payroll computation and salary release
Prepare and distribute employee payslips through designated communication channels
Handle payroll adjustments, final pay computation, statutory deductions, and off-cycle payroll processing
Process and monitor mandatory government contributions and payroll tax compliance, including:
SSS
PhilHealth
Pag-IBIG (HDMF)
BIR tax filings and remittances
Prepare and support compliance requirements such as:
BIR Form 1601-C
BIR Form 1604-C
BIR Form 2316
Other payroll-related statutory reports
Process employee reimbursements, bonuses, 13th month pay, and other special payouts
Support payroll requirements related to onboarding and offboarding employees
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams regarding payroll concerns and employee inquiries
Maintain and update payroll records, employee information, and payroll documentation
Assist in payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll reporting activities
Ensure confidentiality and security of employee payroll and compensation information
Perform other payroll and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field
At least 2 years of payroll experience, preferably in a BPO, shared services, or multinational environment
Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll processing, taxation, labor compliance, and government contributions
Experience handling payroll systems and HRIS platforms is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
Experience supporting high-volume payroll processing is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a global or multinational company setup
Familiarity with payroll audits and compliance reporting
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience supporting payroll operations within a BPO or shared services environment
