About the Role:

Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is seeking a Payments & Benefits Representative to join our U.S. Life Operations team. In this role, you will provide world-class customer service while servicing in-force policy contracts via telephone, email, and written requests. You'll handle inquiries from policyholders, government entities, and agents, process disbursements (loans, surrenders, outgoing 1035 transfers), manage payment processing, and update policy records.

Essential Functions:

Customer Service

Education & Experience:

• Required: High School diploma
• Preferred: Experience in customer service (telephone), life insurance, or related industry; and completion of LOMA 280/281 or Level 1 within 12 months of employment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

• Strong knowledge of computer applications and basic functions
• Basic math and accounting skills
• Problem-solving and attention to detail
• Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple tasks effectively
• Ability to work independently and adjust to changing business needs, including overtime and Saturdays
• Commitment to quality, deadlines, and delivering exceptional customer service

What We Offer:

• Competitive compensation package (base salary & bonus). Base pay range $13.70/hour to $18.90/hour, plus annual bonus (based on experience).
