Summary
Lead Team Member. Helps train other TMs and may perform same work as other TMs: a variety of warehouse duties including forklift operation, inventory control, receiving and shipping to ensure accurate and safe shipment of goods to and from the customer.What You'll Do
Responsible for monitoring incoming and outgoing shipments through various methods to determine and ensure timely inbound and outbound deliveries.
Support special projects regarding customer shipping and delivery issues, including inventory discrepancies and moves.
Responsible for generating appropriate shipping and/or receiving documents and labels and delivery orders.
Responsible for collecting and analyzing data for problem solving, and process improvement purposes.
Communicate with management as to customer requests, needs, concerns, or complaints.
Utilization of internal systems including but not limited to JDA, JDE, BlueYonder, to prepare material for operations to execute their job functions.
Responsible for coordination with customer and third-party warehouse services schedules, orders, repack, storage, shipping, and receiving.
Helps in monitoring stop call waits, proper PPE usage, and assists with any questions a member of their team may have.
Understand the workings of third-party warehouse provider and their services.
Meet and communicate with customer on performance and quality as requested.
Maintains a clean and safe work area utilizing the principles of 5S.
Participates in the facilities Safety program.
Training, Hiyari Hatto reporting, Risk Assessment, and Observation of Safety policies of the company and facility.
Participates in team meetings.
Leads all efforts in training new and existing employees on proper Standard Operating Procedures.
Creation of work instruction sheets.
Ensures required equipment checks are being performed correctly and timely.
Participates in customer inventory as scheduled or requested.
Occasionally operate a forklift.
Travel up to 25% to third party sites or other company travel as required.
Overtime or weekend work as required or needed when approved.
Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
What You Need
Must have High School Diploma or GED required. College Degree preferred. Minimum 1-3 years experience in a similar position. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
