Coverys is offering an engaging summer internship opportunity to work in a hybrid environment and gain hands-on professional experience in Tech Support. Join our established team of mission driven individuals for a robust 8-week internship experience!

The program will offer the opportunity to learn more about the insurance industry, while performing meaningful work within the IT department. This will include:

  • Introductory meetings to get familiar with various departments across the organization

  • Coffee chats with leaders and various other employees across the company

  • The ability to be a part of all companywide initiatives including our June Coverys Quarterly Conversation, DE&I Town Halls, and Employee Resource Group meetings

  • And, more!

The internship will span 8 weeks from June 8 – July 31, working hybrid in our Boston, MA office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Technical Support intern will provide technical support to end-users via email, phone, and in-person. They will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Responsibilities also include assisting with installing, configuring, and updating operating systems and applications. The intern will document issues, solutions, and procedures via ticketing system and knowledge bases, while also assisting with inventory management of IT equipment.

Skills and Competencies – Basic troubleshooting skills of hardware, software, and OS. Skills and knowledge of MS Windows, MS 365, laptops, and mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Android, etc.). Conceptual knowledge of networking basics. Clear verbal and written communication skills.

This is a paid internship, offering $20 per hour.
