Salary: 192,000 PLN per annum, plus company benefits
Location: Hybrid – Warsaw
Contract: Full Time
Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:30 with a 1‑hour unpaid lunch break

Purpose of the Role

The Scrum Master facilitates Agile delivery, supports the team in applying Agile practices, removes impediments, and ensures successful release and transition of products and services. The role partners closely with the Product Owner, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a culture of psychological safety and high performance.

Key Responsibilities

Team Facilitation & Delivery

  • Manage one Agile team (6–10 people), ensuring effective delivery and collaboration.
  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum events (Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) to ensure they are productive, time‑boxed, and outcome‑focused.
  • Protect the team from external disruptions and manage stakeholder expectations so the team can focus on sprint commitments.
  • Track and report on team health, velocity, and flow metrics.
  • Support successful delivery of new or updated products and services through effective leadership, alignment, and team collaboration.

Coaching & Continuous Improvement

  • Guide the team in understanding and applying Scrum principles, Agile values, and self‑organization.
  • Translate retrospective outcomes into actionable improvements, promoting experimentation and learning.
  • Assess Agile maturity, identify growth opportunities, and support the team’s progression toward greater autonomy and performance.
  • Promote psychological safety and a culture of continuous improvement.

Impediment Management & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Identify, track, and resolve obstacles that hinder team progress, escalating systemic issues where needed.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment, resolve dependencies, and promote Agile ways of working across the organization.
  • Apply change management principles to support Agile adoption and team development.

  • Metrics & Analysis: Monitors and interprets key delivery and team‑health metrics.
  • Psychological Safety: Fosters a safe, inclusive, high‑trust team environment.
  • Release & Deployment: Supports the release and transition of products or services.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resilience: Remains focused and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in complex, multi-team environments and delivering complex products/services.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM II or higher).
  • Proven track record of successfully facilitating multiple agile teams.
  • Experience coaching teams through agile adoption and maturity growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to remove complex impediments and drive organizational change.
  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational change, continuous improvement and Agile maturity.
  • Strong experience with agile project management and collaboration tools.
  • Experience managing the release and deployment of software and services .
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience supporting Product Owners and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred

  • Advanced Scrum Master certifications (A-CSM, PSM III)
  • Agile coaching certifications (ICP-ACC, Certified Agile Coach)
  • Scaling framework certifications (SAFe SPC, LeSS Practitioner)
  • Experience in agile transformation initiatives
  • Background in software development or technical roles
  • Experience facilitating across distributed or remote teams
  • Experience with DevOps practices and engineering excellence.
  • Experience mentoring junior Scrum Masters
