We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Return Investigation Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on hearing aids and accessories, accurately collecting and managing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct tests on hearing aids and accessories to verify functionality and compliance with quality standards.
• Accurately collect, record, and manage test data in databases.
• Collaborate with technicians, customer solutions specialists, and engineers to communicate test results and develop effective solutions.
• Maintain daily calibration and proper operation of test equipment.
• Promptly identify and report any issues or discrepancies to the team and supervisor.
• Contribute to process and test improvement initiatives by providing insights based on testing outcomes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new testing protocols and procedures.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of hearing aid technology and testing methodologies.

Required Skills: (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.)

• Experience in testing or quality assurance role, in the medical device or hearing aid industry.
• Proficient in data entry and management, with experience in databases and spreadsheets.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Highly effective organizational abilities combined with a keen eye for detail.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and an innovative approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: High School diploma or GED

• Preferred Education: Technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus

• Experience:
  • Experience in using software and hardware test systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

Working Environment: Manufacturing / Distribution Facility and office environment

Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, no more than 20 lbs.

Pay Transparency Notice: 

Depending on your work location, the target hourly rate for this position can range from $21.00 to $27.00 an hour. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Compensation for roles at GN depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience. To remain competitive, GN offers a competitive benefits package, including annual bonuses, health insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and paid holidays.
