Customer Relationship Management

  • Build, strengthen, and retain long-term relationships with mining customers.

  • Maintain strong on-site presence at customer facilities.

  • Act as the trusted partner and first point of contact for all account-related needs.

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.

  • Map key stakeholders and decision-makers, ensuring strong customer engagement.

  • Drive account strategies to capture opportunities and expand market share.

Technical Expertise & Solutions

  • Present, demonstrate, and explain the features, benefits, and value of slurry pumps, hydro cyclones, and knife gate valves.

  • Perform technical evaluations of installed equipment and recommend upgrades, optimizations, or replacements.

  • Provide tailored technical solutions aligned with customer operational needs.

Commercial Execution

  • Prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals, including specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.

  • Negotiate and close contracts ensuring customer satisfaction and business profitability.

  • Monitor project progress and ensure smooth execution of sales and delivery commitments.

Customer Support & Service

  • Provide post-sales support, including product training, troubleshooting, and service coordination.

  • Ensure customers receive consistent value across the full product life cycle.

  • Collaborate with service teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Market & Industry Insights

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.

  • Provide customer insights to internal teams for product development and strategy.

  • Contribute to FLS position as an industry thought leader.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with engineering, service, and supply chain teams to ensure delivery excellence.

  • Engage with global colleagues to share knowledge, align strategies, and deliver best-in-class solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical, Mining, Electrical, or Production Engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales of mining equipment - PCV, spare parts, consumables.

  • Strong technical knowledge of pumps, hydro cyclones, and valves.

  • Intermediate English proficiency; Spanish desirable.

  • Proven commercial and negotiation skills.

  • Existing relationships with mining customers.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Customer-focused with proven ability to identify and close opportunities.

  • Commitment to safety and compliance.

  • Availability for national and international travel.
