The Quality Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

•Conduct simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality) record   results and then notify key stakeholders of the out-of-specification conditions.

•Compare the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications to identify defects.

•Collaborate directly with suppliers from around the world to resolve defects as quickly and efficiently as possible.

•Work together with Purchasing to develop and improve supplier performance to help mitigate future defects.

•Monitor and maintain quality systems in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

•Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

•Investigate non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis. Implement corrective/preventive actions.

•Maintain accurate documentation of quality records, procedures, and audit findings.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality improvement projects.

•Assist in training employees in our quality procedures and best practices.

•Support supplier quality management and incoming material inspections.

•Track and report on key quality metrics and trends.

•Participate in customer complaint investigations and resolution processes.

Qualifications:

•Associate or bachelor’s degree in quality, Engineering, or a related field.

•2+ years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role.

•Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001.

•Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

•Ability to use a FARO Arm (CMM) and other tools to ensure accurate inspections.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and SharePoint, Power BI is a plus.
