Your Role on Our Team:В 

Milwaukee Tool is continuing to grow, and we are seeking a Project Engineer to unlock the next level of productivity within our Distribution Network.В  This position is a fundamental part of our cross-functional team located in a fast-paced environment of the Distribution network in Olive Branch, Mississippi.В В В

The ideal candidate will have a lean mindset, with proven Project Management experience in various distribution processes including conveyance, material handling, packaging, equipment, or automation.   • Perform analysis of current state & provide multiple what-if scenarios for improved efficiencies. Understand and present financial impacts of these scenarios.В 

  • Brainstorm and Implement robust improvements that will scale as we growВ 

  • Provide coaching and training on various process improvement techniques to build internal capabilitiesВ

Project ManagementВ 

  • Lead cross-functional projects of small to medium complexity вҖ“ process improvements and/or capital expenditure projectsВ 

  • Ensure cross functional alignment on scope, budget, schedule, and resources.В 

  • Develop and execute charters, action plans and project timelines with plans in place for long term sustainment of resultsВ 

  • Lead team meetings as needed to drive results.В 

  • Establish appropriate metrics and report on project progress, risks, and results.В  This includes executive-level reporting, management updates, and best practice sharing throughout the organization.В 

  • Ensure process changes are fully integrated through documentation, communication, perseverance, and consistency.В 

  • Drive accountability for team to successfully complete tasks.В В 

  • Acts as CEO of project - Takes accountability and possesses a sense of urgency for entire project outcome.В

  • BachelorвҖҷs degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent years of directly related experience in Lean/Continuous Improvement rolesВ 

  • 5+ years of experience with proven operations process improvements (distribution experience preferred)В В 

  • Previous kaizen participation experiences where problem solving, process development and/or behavior change methods and tools have been usedВ 

  • Strong project management skillsВ В 

  • Advanced Data analysis skills in MS Excel, Pareto, Control charts, PowerPivot, and/or VBAВ 

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skillsВ 

  • Periodic travel may be required up to 15%В
