  • The Warehouse Admin is primarily responsible for performing administrative and clerical tasks within the department, including data entry, record-keeping, validation of random weights, ensuring accuracy of inventory levels, monitoring directed moves assigned to forklift operators and order selection. 
  • Hours- 6:30 am- 3:00 pm

  • Cubes and releases store orders by route as indicated on the Route Sheet.
  • Processes and picks shorts / chases or ensure Chaser handles shorts in accordance with established procedures.
  • Verifies item quantity on-hand and communicates with supervision to ensure product is not inbound prior to scratching.
  • Processes routes for invoicing after loading is completed.
  • Answers incoming phone calls and directs caller to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Communicate with other departments to coordinate integrated shipments. 
  • Ensures proper workflow to selectors, checkers and other departments.
  • May be required to perform other assignments requested by the manager, within the scope of function/department and with the proper training, as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a high volume, time sensitive, warehouse environment with limited direction.
  • Data entry with ten-key experience preferred and PC proficient with experience in Windows, Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule if needed. Must be able to work in all climates of the warehouse environment. 
  • Demonstrate professional communication skills and have the ability to interact well with supervision and co-workers. 
  • Have a sense of urgency and ability to keep matters confidential. 
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing and challenging environment.
  • Proficient math, problem solving and organizational skills, as well as phone etiquette.
