Responsibilities: 

• Strategic Planning: Analyze customer logistics requirements and partner directly with suppliers to prioritize production and shipment schedules, ensuring 100% on-time delivery (OTD).

• Merchandising Collaboration: Lead the coordination with Merchandising teams to ensure timely execution of order updates and shipping coordination in order to meet the customer's delivery requirements.

• Vendor Compliance: Monitor and enforce vendor adherence to Shipping Instructions (SI) and origin booking protocols to minimize late deliveries and avoid shipment penalties.

• Disruption Management: Proactively monitor global logistics data to manage exceptions, including port congestion, equipment shortages (e.g., Red Sea impact), or sudden shifts in shipment modes.

• Origin Excellence: Verify internal/external data to ensure effective logistics planning, verify shipment timelines, collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to minimize last-minute revisions and delays.

• Data Analytics & Insight: Analyze logistics performance metrics with forwarders and suppliers to deliver actionable insights, streamline origin processes, and improve cost-efficiency.

• Reporting: Develop and maintain logistics performance dashboards for stakeholder reporting, identifying areas for continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and logistics management. Proven expertise in end-to-end shipment coordination and logistics planning is essential. Direct experience working within a Sourcing Office, Trading Company or in the Freight Forwarding Industry is highly preferred.

• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

• Attributes: Highly organized, result-oriented, and able to maintain accuracy while working under tight deadlines and global supply chain pressures.

• Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) is essential.
