We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Solutions Architect to join our team. The Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system architecture, experience with cloud platforms, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the security design and architecture of complex IT systems, ensuring that they meet the business requirements and are scalable, secure, modern, and maintainable.
  • Develop and implement security frameworks and methodologies to guide the design and integration of various technology components.
  • Ensure that solutions are aligned with the organization’s enterprise architecture and technology standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, business analysts, project managers, and other business units to deliver high-quality, secured solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Present and communicate architectural designs and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their applicability to the organization’s needs.
  • Promote best practices in software development, integration, and architecture within the team and the broader organization.
  • Identify potential risks in the solution design and architecture and develop mitigation strategies, appropriately communicating and capturing risk exceptions where applicable.
  • Ensure that all solutions comply with relevant security, regulatory, and performance standards; providing appropriate guidance and work plans to meet standards where required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, systems integration, or a similar role.
  • Prior, demonstrable architecture experience.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and Information Security.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $120000- $160000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
