We’re looking for a Quality Lead to drive quality outcomes and ensure high standards across state highway maintenance and operations. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide subject matter expertise, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and implement robust quality assurance processes—making a tangible impact on the region’s transport network.
Key responsibilities:
Lead field quality assurance activities, including audits and inspections
Develop and implement quality frameworks and processes for projects
Review and approve quality management documentation
Mentor contractors and staff in quality control methodologies
Manage non-conformance processes and drive corrective actions
Analyse quality data and implement targeted improvements
Prepare performance reports for senior management
Roll out new standards and facilitate feedback from teams
Deliver quality-focused training programmes

You’re a technical expert with substantial experience in state highway construction and maintenance, and you thrive on solving complex challenges. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to build strong relationships set you apart. You’ll be passionate about making a difference in a region where your skills will have a real impact. In addition, you’ll bring:
Substantial experience in state highway construction and maintenance
Demonstrated experience in quality management systems and processes
Proven ability to review and approve technical documentation
Comprehensive understanding of quality assurance frameworks (including ISO 9001)
Experience conducting field inspections and audits
Strong mentoring and relationship management skills
Excellent analytical and communication abilities
