Required Degree:
A graduate degree (MBA, MPA, JD, PhD, or equivalent) is required. A terminal degree is preferred.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
The BYU Marriott School of Business invites applications and nominations for the position of MBA Program Director, a faculty role. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of leadership in higher education or industry, a deep understanding of graduate business education, excellence in the classroom, and a commitment to both the mission and AIMS of a BYU education and the BYU Marriott vision, mission, and values. Experience in academic administration and teaching at the graduate level is desirable.
Duties/Expectations:
The MBA Program Director provides strategic leadership, academic oversight, and administrative management for the MBA program at BYU Marriott. The director works closely with faculty, administrators, staff, students, alumni, and external stakeholders to ensure the program’s excellence and its alignment with the BYU mission and the BYU Marriott vision, mission, and values. Specific responsibilities include:
The MBA Program Director appointment is a renewable fixed term appointment. At the conclusion of the appointment, the individual will assume a full-time faculty role within their assigned academic department at BYU Marriott, consistent with their academic credentials and disciplinary expertise.
