What You’ll Do
Triage and room pediatric patients while obtaining vitals, medical histories, and clinical intake information
Perform pediatric phlebotomy, including venipuncture and capillary blood draws
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as ordered by providers
Perform EKGs, point-of-care testing, CBCs, and other basic lab procedures
Assist providers with urgent care procedures and support clinical patient flow
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
Return patient calls and communicate lab results under provider guidance
Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and medical forms
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
What We’re Looking For
Current NYS LPN License required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
Current BLS and PALS certifications required
Phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric venipuncture and capillary collection
EKG certification/experience required
Urgent care, emergency medicine, or pediatric experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of medical terminology and dosage calculations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
EMR experience required; AthenaOne experience preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Positive, professional, team-oriented attitude

Compensation Offered:
Hourly - Hourly Plan, 30.00 USD HourlyThe salary/rate provided complies with local regulations and reflects the potential base compensation for this role. Actual salary/rate may vary above or below based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
