This role contributes to scaling security in a fast‑growing organization by helping ensure security solutions and services are implemented consistently, documented, and operated effectively, rather than being reactive or fragmented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the lifecycle of cybersecurity solutions and services by assisting with:
    • Requirements gathering and documentation (functional and non‑functional requirements)
    • Secure configuration and implementation tasks following approved standards and patterns
    • Integration support (connectors, onboarding logs, basic automation and scripting)
    • Validation activities and security testing execution (test cases, evidence collection)
    • Operational readiness tasks (runbooks, monitoring checks, access requests)
    • Documentation and knowledge transfer updates (procedures, diagrams, FAQs)
    • Maintenance and continuous improvement (ticket triage, minor enhancements, hygiene tasks)
  • Follow security-by-design and secure-by-default practices by implementing controls as defined by security architecture and standards
  • Work with security engineers, IT operations, product teams, GRC, and vendors to coordinate tasks, track action items, and ensure evidence is captured for audits.
  • Apply systems security engineering fundamentals (e.g., requirements traceability, test evidence, documentation discipline) with coaching and guidance.
