Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their mental health status and diagnose psychiatric conditions.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, and referrals to other healthcare professionals.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, ensuring effective treatment while managing side effects and interactions.
  • Therapeutic Communication: Utilize strong communication skills to build therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Education and Advocacy: Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies, while advocating for their needs within the healthcare system.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.

Required experience:
  • Experience in behavioral health setting with strong knowledge of mental health and co-occurring disorders.
 Certification/Licensure:
  • NYS Professional Registered Nurse license required.
  • NYS Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
 
 Education requirements:
  •  MSN in Psychiatry & Mental Health required at a minimum.
  
Computer/Equipment skills:
  •  Knowledge of electronic Medical Records Systems required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

Monday-Friday 9a-5p

Salary Range: $120,000 - $145,000
