The Math Coach will be responsible for attending MTH 105 - 02 everytime that it meets and will assist students with problem solving during class time. The Math Coach will host evening drop-in hours on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00pm - 8:00pm.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Must attend the course every time that it meets for the whole term (MWF 11:45am - 12:50pm and Tuesdays from 9:00am - 11:50am)

• Must be available for 8 - 10 hours per week during the term

• Must be available for a minimum of 2 nights on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays from 7:00pm - 8:00pm for drop-in hours

• Must meet with the Director of Student Success every two weeks and attend a weekly meeting with the Professor teaching the course

• Must attend all required training

Qualifications:

• Must have completed 3 terms at Union College

• Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA

• Must have completed calculus through MTH 115 (completion of MTH 117 strongly preferred)

• Must have earned an A/A- in all math courses at Union
