The purpose of a Distribution Manager’s job is to plan, coordinate, and optimize distribution operations to ensure smooth supply chain performance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma/ Bachelors' Degree in related field

3 - 5 years Logistics and supply chain knowledge 

At least 3 years Leadership and team management

Communication:

Problem-solving and decision-making

Planning and organizational skills

Budget and cost control

Communication and coordination

Knowledge of inventory and warehouse systems

Key Responsibilities:

Managing distribution and delivery operations to retail stores

Monitoring inventory levels and stock availability

Coordinating warehouse activities and transportation schedules

Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products

Supervising distribution staff and logistics teams

Reducing delivery delays and operational costs

Maintaining health, safety, and company compliance standards

Analyzing distribution performance and preparing reports

Working with suppliers, store managers, and transport providers

Resolving stock, delivery, and supply chain issues quickly

Implementing strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction

Managing budgets and controlling logistics expenses
