Position Summary
Anchor Loans is seeking a highly motivated Capital Markets Analyst to join our growing team. This role provides exposure to structured finance, loan trading, liquidity management, and strategic capital markets initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for financial markets and real estate lending.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist capital market trade executions by helping settle trades and collateral movements
Work closely with finance ops on trade reconciliations and reporting requirements
Create investor reporting based on a dynamic set of investors that are growing
Monitor warehouse facilities and produce financial models to project capacity & liquidity
Take initiative to help progress departmental priorities and corporate objectives
Contribute to strategy around loan pricing, credit risk, sale and financings
Prepare corporate presentations and work with data analytics team to develop capital market dashboards and KPIs
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
2 years of experience in related field
Advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills
Leadership potential with ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, solutions oriented attitude
Experience in finance, real estate or capital markets is a plus
“Team before self” attitude
Willingness to “swing the hammer” meaning roll up your sleeves to get things done
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position which requires in-office reporting to Anchor’s Thousand Oaks office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Remote work is optional Monday and Friday.
Fully remote options are also available
Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $72,000 per year, plus annual discretionary bonus based on performance of the individual and company.
