The Senior Business Systems Analyst (Sr. BSA) – IT Servicing Innovation serves as a strategic partner between business units and technology teams, driving process improvement and operational excellence across the organization. This role leverages data analytics, process reviews, and business acumen to identify, document, and implement enhancements that optimize efficiency, maximize the use of third-party servicing systems, and support automation initiatives.
Working closely with the VPs and Sr. Managers of IT Servicing Innovation, the Sr. BSA plays a pivotal role in managing change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enabling strategic decision-making through actionable insights and innovative solutions. Responsibilities will include management of activities related to contracts between third party service providers (Vendors) and Selene Finance LP.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the VP IT Servicing Innovation, Selene’s COE for Business Innovation, IT Support Pods, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance existing third-party vendor workflows to improve end-to-end process output quality and production timelines.
Support the development of proposals for new systems or operational modifications in collaboration with third-party vendor teams.
Coordinate the end-to-end review, approval, and execution of third-party service provider contracts by Legal, VMO, Technology, Finance, and Operations leaders.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align contract deliverables with business goals.
Log and manage Vendor Incident reports that are used to communicate issues encountered with successful completion of established vendor workflows.
Provide subject matter expertise on systems functionality content reflected in contracts.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to monitor contract review status.
Participate in events such as process mapping, value stream mapping, and problem-solving sessions and contribute to the discussion by providing information related to terms or features available via the proposed vendor solution.
Manage, in collaboration with VP IT Servicing Innovation and the IT COE Business Innovation team, the implementation of approved solutions, monitor key milestones, and design post implementation support models.
Function as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and external consultants to ensure effective planning for system design, configuration, testing, and maintenance.
Participate in user acceptance testing and validate new system functionality.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and staff on processes used to manage third-party vendor contract workflows.
Develop training materials and collaborate with Talent Development teams to design ICE MT systems related training modules.
·Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or four to ten years' related experience and/or training required, five or more years of experience in business-related process analysis is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS and Sagent preferred.
Experience:
5–7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in mortgage servicing operations experience
Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing, financial services, or regulated industries and mortgage loan servicing lifecycle preferred.
