Job Overview
Pretium Enterprise Services (PES) is seeking an Insurance Analyst to join our team supporting Pretium & our Operating Companies. The Insurance Analyst will be responsible for developing and building out the data inventory and infrastructure for the newly formed Insurance Risk Management Department within Pretium Enterprise Services. The Analyst will work with a network of internal business teams including operations, finance, legal as well as Pretium’s various Operating Companies and external insurance vendors. Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of Insurance Risk Management at Pretium Enterprise Services (PES), this position will join a developing team that is responsible for assessing, centralizing, and managing Pretium’s global insurance programs. The successful candidate is a strong team player and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will be required to be in office four (4) days per week at our New York City office, located at 60 Columbus Circle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Centralize/organize, track, and validate data across Pretium’s various insurance programs including underlying exposure information, insurance program information, vendor data, insurance carrier data, and claims data
Work with the firm’s various Operating Companies and internal PES stakeholders to implement processes to curate insurance program exposure information and submissions on an automated basis at appropriate, not-less-than annual intervals
Develop first generation insurance program summaries, dashboards and reports appropriate for senior management consumption
Develop first generation metrics designed to assess and articulate the efficacy and performance of the firm’s insurance programs
Develop first generation claims protocols working with internal and external legal teams and external claims departments as it pertains to incident reporting, claim file monitoring, tracking total cost of risk, payments, carrier loss ratios etc
Develop premium/cost allocation and payment protocols across the firm’s various insurance programs with the firm’s Operating Companies, PES stakeholders and external vendors
Centralize/organize, track and develop critical data across Pretium’s various insurance assets including our insurance brokerage subsidiary and our various wholly owned captive insurance companies
Work with the Capital Markets team to build out efficient processes to support the firm’s securitizations and financing activities as it pertains to lender/rating agency-imposed insurance requirements
Develop an insurance M&A framework with key internal and external stakeholders in support of inorganic firmwide growth opportunities
Requirements
Education: BA/BS degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or another quantitative field required. Law degree preferred
Experience: At least 3 years of experience working in the property and casualty insurance industry with familiarity of large commercial property, liability and financial lines insurance programs
Preferred Skills: Highly skilled with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); Proficiency in Power BI, modern BI tooling and applying AI‑enabled analytics tools; Interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing with employees and outside partners; Effective multi-tasking skills and ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment where priorities are constantly changing; Strong project management skills

Annual base salary for this role is expected to be around $150,000
The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions.
Annual year-end bonus eligible
