Position Summary

The Beverage Server is responsible for providing prompt, courteous beverage service to guests while ensuring exceptional hospitality and compliance with all liquor laws and company policies. This role contributes to a positive guest experience through efficient service, accurate order handling, and maintaining a clean, professional appearance at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service of beverages to guests.

  • Accurately input drink orders into the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

  • Prepare and garnish drinks according to established standards.

  • Retrieve and clear used glassware in a timely manner.

  • Maintain knowledge of drink menus and promotions to assist guests.

  • Comply with all local, state, and federal liquor laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.

  • Follow all guidelines under S.M.A.R.T. or T.I.P.S. training for responsible alcohol service.

  • Maintain proper balance of assigned server bank, where applicable.

  • Promote positive guest and team relations by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Must be 19 years of age or older.

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

  • Ability to operate POS systems and touch-screen devices.

  • Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct.

  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience using mobile devices or tablet applications.

  • ServSafe and Alcohol Awareness certifications.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent walking and standing for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.

  • Exposure to secondhand smoke, loud noise, and temperature variations.

  • Frequent bending, reaching, and manual dexterity required for serving tasks.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Schedule

Swing Shift - This position requires flexibility, including availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on business needs.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is not required for this position.

WORK HOURS: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
