We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Finance Operations team based at our East Maitland Head Office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves building strong relationships across the business.
Reporting to the Finance Officer Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business across accounts payable, receivable, payroll support, and finance administration. You’ll also partner closely with Centre Leaders and Regional Business Leaders to provide responsive financial support across our national network.
This is a hands-on and collaborative role where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a supportive finance team focused on continuous improvement, accuracy, and delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
Processing accounts payable invoices and supplier reconciliations
Managing supplier queries and maintaining accurate vendor records
Assisting with patient debt collection and finance support requests
Processing daily banking and monitoring transactions
Supporting payroll processing and finance-related projects
Building strong relationships with Centre Leaders and operational teams
Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and workflows
You’ll be someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
Experience in accounts payable, receivable, payroll, or finance administration
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Intermediate to advanced Excel and computer skills
A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and improve
Experience within a large or complex organisation will be highly regarded
Finance or accounting qualifications (desirable)
