Position Summary:

Responsible for the daily repair, maintenance and operation of the slot machines, slot data collection system, progressive control systems and related equipment. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promotes superior guest service.

  • Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.

  • Safeguard against theft and ensure the security and integrity of all slot machines, keys, radios, and casino property.

  • Maintains Electronic Gaming Machines and equipment.

  • Promote outstanding customer service, safety, and security. 

  • Handle complaints according to established company and department policies and procedures.

  • Report developments which may affect the casino operation to slot management.

  • Document and report the daily activities of the shift.

  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.

  • Successful completion of a recognized training course in the repair and maintenance of electronic slot machines and basic knowledge of electricity and/or mechanical equipment.

  • Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, use an “in-ear” communication device daily, and have the dexterity to service slot machines. 

  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.

  • Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.

  • Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Slot Technician II

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).

  • Three (3) years’ experience as a Slot Technician.

  • Successful completion of a recognized training course in the repair and maintenance of electronic slot machines and basic knowledge of electricity and/or mechanical equipment.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of all slot machines and slot data systems.

  • Successfully receive sign off on the "Slot Technician II Knowledge Checklist."

Slot Technician III

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).

  • Five (5) years’ experience as a Slot Technician.

  • Successful completion of a recognized training course in the repair and maintenance of electronic slot machines and basic knowledge of electricity and/or mechanical equipment.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of all slot machines and slot data systems.

  • Must have exceptional troubleshooting skills.

  • Successfully receive sign off on the "Slot Technician III Knowledge Checklist."

Compensation is aligned to skillset and assessment results. Range from $19.25 to $30.00 per hour

Shifts:

Swing: 03:00 p.m. - 01:00 a.m.

Graveyard: 11:00 p.m. ( 5 x 8 hours or 4 x 10 hours)

Weekends & Holidays Required, If Scheduled.
