Job Description:

Supports and coordinates project management activities throughout the organization.
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Observe or shadow team members and learn as they handle complex situations and projects.

  • Monitor project progress and prepare reports.

  • Participate in project meetings and take notes, ensuring follow-up on action items.

  • Support team with current projects and initiatives.

  • Manage a low complexity project under guidance from a Project Manager.

  • Gathers input from peers and management on complex situations.

  • Possess appropriate discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures.

  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to

  • supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Experience

  • No prior experience required, however candidate should possess interest in IT Project Management.


Education/Certifications/Licenses

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • College sophomore or higher working toward a bachelor degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or other applicable business degree.

Skills

  • Quality written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.

  • Work involves personal contact with others, primarily inside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information.
