• Process and apply customer payments to the correct invoices within defined timelines
• Manage and resolve duplicate payments, coordinating with internal teams for corrective actions
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate AR records
• Monitor unapplied and unidentified payments, performing follow-ups as needed
• Conduct calls to customers to follow up on overdue invoices and secure timely payments
• Update customer payment status and notes in AR systems with accuracy and timeliness
• Review and manage bad debt accounts, perform follow-ups, and support provisioning.
• Manage and resolve rejected credit card transactions.
• Manage AR-related unclaimed property processes in line with corporate policies.
• Process refunds for instruments and lab transactions under disputes with accuracy and compliance
• Generate client statements and print reports
• Strong understanding with accounting principles, reconciliations and familiar with collection processes under AR function
• Exposure of analyzing and resolving payment discrepancies
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Workday, Salesforce or similar) and Excel or other basic tools
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards, statutory and regulatory compliance preferred
• Effective communication, strong organization, documentation, and time-management skills
• Problem-solving ability to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Solid numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
• Ability to work under deadlines, prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or any graduate from related field
• 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable, collection process, or similar role
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software (Workday, Salesforce or similar) and basic reporting tools.
• Understanding of general accounting practices and financial transactions
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivables and Billings process
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal communication skills for customer engagement
• Ability to learn and adapt to organizational processes quickly
