We’re looking for a strong people and delivery leader to build and lead a high‑performing team delivering AI solutions at scale. You’ll bring together AI development and operations into a modern DevOps model, helping the business realize value through intelligent automation, optimized performance, and data‑driven improvement.

In this role, you’ll manage a hybrid delivery model—internal teams, trusted vendor partners, and flexible POD‑based teams—balancing capacity and priorities to meet fast‑moving business needs. You’ll assess incoming demand, guide solution design, and lead end‑to‑end delivery of custom, pro‑code AI solutions, ensuring quality, accountability, and alignment across all contributors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in technology delivery, DevOps, platform engineering, software engineering or AI/ML solutions.

  • 5+ years of experience leading delivery, development, or operational teams

  • Proven experience implementing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation strategies

  • Hands-on familiarity with AI technologies including LLMs, cloud solutions, OpenAI services, Azure AI Foundry, Snowflake, and/or similar platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional business stakeholders

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing AI solutions delivery team accountable for end-to-end solution delivery, deployment, and operational support

  • Foster a strong DevOps culture centered on collaboration, automation, CI/CD, reliability, and continuous improvement

  • Oversee the design and delivery of scalable AI solutions across ML, LLMs, and full-stack solutions.

  • Triage and prioritize incoming business demand, identifying the appropriate AI solution pattern and delivery approach

  • Ensure secure, reliable, and production-ready deployments aligned with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards

  • Establish and maintain DevOps pipelines, monitoring, observability, and operational controls for AI-enabled workloads

  • Manage and scale a hybrid delivery model including internal resources, vendor partners, and POD-based teams

  • Drive effective backlog management, sprint planning, and resource allocation to support changing business priorities

  • Communicate delivery progress, risks, outcomes, and value realization clearly to executive stakeholders

Location and other Key Details:

  • This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W

  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday with occasional site visits

  • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based on years of experience and scope of work
