POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job title –Sr. Executive – Purchase, SAP Ariba

Department – Operations

Reporting Manager – Assistant Manager – Global Procurement

Division/Location – Rehlko Services Center, Pune, Maharashtra, India

 

Role Overview:

 

The SAP Ariba Executive will support end‑to‑end procurement operations using SAP Ariba modules. The role involves managing supplier onboarding, contract administration, procurement transactions, catalog management, and Ariba system maintenance. The executive will work closely with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations, process compliance, and timely resolution of system-related issues.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

SAP Ariba Operations

  • Manage day‑to‑day operations within SAP Ariba (P2P modules).

  • Support purchase requisition and purchase order processing.

  • Maintain and update catalogs and supplier information in Ariba.

  • Monitor workflow approvals and ensure timely follow‑ups.

  • Work closely with Sr. Purchasing Analyst assigned to Ariba as an Admin working on various Ariba road map projects (Automated Registration, Sourcing).

Supplier Management

  • Support supplier onboarding and qualification through Ariba Network.

  • Maintain supplier records and ensure data accuracy.

  • Assist vendors with Ariba registration, logins, and transactional issues.

  • Knowledge of Service now, Wind shuttle, Wind chill, P2P etc. is valuable.

Contract Management

  • Assist in contract creation, updates, renewals, and repository maintenance.

  • Ensure all contract metadata and documents are compliant and complete.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate procurement and Ariba usage reports (spend, compliance, cycle time).

  • Identify process bottlenecks and provide improvement suggestions.

 

 

Compliance & Process Support

  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and audit guidelines.

  • Support internal stakeholders in navigation, troubleshooting, and best‑practice use of Ariba.

  • Assist with system testing, enhancements, and user training sessions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

Experience

  • 2.5 to 3.5 years of experience in Procurement operations (preferably in SAP Ariba).

  • Hands‑on experience with Ariba P2P, Guided Buying, or Ariba Network (any of the modules is acceptable).

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SAP Ariba (must).

  • Basic knowledge of SAP ERP (MM Module preferred).

  • Strong MS Excel and reporting skills.

  • Understanding of procurement lifecycle (PR → PO → GR → Invoice → Payment).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Detail‑oriented and strong follow‑through.

  • Ability to work with global teams and suppliers.

  • Problem‑solving mindset and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

  • Certifications in SAP Ariba( Preferable)

Language/Communication:

 

Highly proficient in English & able to communicate effectively with Function Head level stakeholders on routine basis

 

Since the role include to support USA, the associate should have the flexibility to work in 2nd shifts that may range from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm , to cover up to 1pm CT (subject to change).
