Job Description:
The Cardiovascular Institute and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) are seeking candidates for a full-time academic faculty position in Interventional Cardiology. All applicants must be board certified or eligible in Interventional Cardiology, as well as eligible for Commonwealth of Massachusetts medical licensure. An academic teaching appointment at Harvard Medical School (HMS) will be commensurate with experience.
This position is ideal for an early career individual. Responsibilities will include providing coronary interventions, in-hospital consultations and outpatient consultations. The applicant is expected to be actively engaged in teaching fellows, residents medical students and nurse practitioners -in-training.
The department will be engaged in the newly announced and exciting clinical collaboration between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), BIDMC, and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) to establish New England’s only free-standing adult inpatient cancer hospital. The collaboration will bring together world-class clinicians to deliver transformational, precision medicine in an environment solely dedicated to defying cancer.

Pay Range:
$170,000 - $742,000The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
