This position serves as NetApp's primary on-site technical liaison, deeply integrated with WWT’s engineering, integration, and logistics and operations teams across the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) and North American Integration Center (NAIC).

The role focuses on building strong technical alignment between NetApp and WWT while providing hands-on operational and logistics support to ensure seamless execution of joint initiatives. Key emphasis is placed on enhancing technical readiness, driving operational efficiency, and supporting the logistics of NetApp gear for demos, proofs-of-concept (POCs), integrations, and customer/partner needs.

The PTL collaborates closely with WWT architects, ATC lab engineers, Partner Managers, NAIC operations leads, and logistics personnel to deliver technical enablement, collect and organize content, support lab validations, drive solution readiness, and contribute to data analytics for modernization opportunities.

Success is measured by improved partner technical proficiency, operational excellence in joint activities, proactive identification of modernization opportunities, and strengthened NetApp-WWT business outcome.

Location: St. Louis, MO

What Will You Do?

  • Deliver hands-on operational and logistics support, including coordination with NAIC logistics teams, fulfillment/configuration workflows, and ensuring timely availability/movement of NetApp gear for demos, POCs, ATC integrations, and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with WWT architects, engineers, and operations leads to support joint design-in solutions, keep teams updated on NetApp offerings, and participate in enablement events.

  • Foster cross-functional alignment with NetApp internal teams (e.g., Partner Managers, Solution Specialists) and WWT stakeholders to drive joint business planning and execution.

  • Contribute to data-driven insights and reporting that highlight opportunities for joint growth and operational improvements.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • Early-career exposure to technical sales, partner engineering, systems engineering, or operations in IT infrastructure/reseller ecosystems.

  • Foundational knowledge of storage, data management, cloud architecture, and NetApp's product portfolio (or ability to quickly ramp up).

  • Experience (or strong interest) in partner ecosystems, including resellers, system integrators, or distributors.

  • Hands-on aptitude for operational/logistics tasks, such as asset coordination, configuration support, or workflow optimization.

  • Ability to analyze data (e.g., install base, EOL lists) and translate into actionable insights for engagement and planning.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders (technical, sales, operations).

  • Proactive mindset with willingness to support on-site activities at WWT facilities, including occasional hands-on logistics involvement.

  • Basic understanding of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and partner technical needs.
