KBP Cares is a 501(c)3 Employee Assistance Program supported by KBP Brands. Available to every KBP Brands employee upon hire, KBP Cares provides assistance for qualifying circumstances affecting their ability to meet necessary living expenses. The KBP Cares Advocate plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the program, serving as a true advocate for those in need and acting as a liaison between applicants and the Allocation Committee.
What You’ll Do
Application Processing (75%)
Review and process grant applications, ensuring thorough understanding of the applicant’s financial hardship and needs.
Obtain and validate all required documentation to support each case.
Present applications clearly and objectively to the Allocation Committee for approval using the designated grant platform.
Proactively gather missing information or respond to Committee follow-up questions.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the grant platform and ensure application movement within 30 days.
Ensure timely applicant communication, with a one-business-day response time standard.
Process vendor payments on approved grants, directly paying employees’ qualified bills.
Provide data and metrics to the Executive Director, including monthly and annual grant volume, amounts awarded, and application challenges.
Help meet or exceed grant volume goals and deadlines.
Communications (25%)
Collect testimonials and craft compelling success stories to help market the program.
Draft and publish KBP Cares content across multiple platforms including social media and newsletters.
Assist with planning and execution of KBP Cares events and initiatives to build program awareness and support.
