Compensation Range:

$18.65 - $26.11

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE
Oversees and provides direction to other staff within the department. Resolves problems and issues, monitors quality assurance of daily operations and provides coaching and training support. Performs quality assurance and oversees the processing of documents to ensure accuracy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Performs quality assurance and oversees the processing of documents entered to ensure accuracy.
  • Tracks errors and communicates accuracy to staff and manager.
  • Oversees all duties of maintaining health information, including but not limited to, indexing, scanning, and flagging health information in the Flowcast system.
  • Oversees all courier schedules and ensures pickups have been completed.
  • Serves as main contact for couriers and all deliveries to the department.
  • Assists with implementing procedures for enhancing levels of service and quality.
  • May oversee work activities of lower-level staff, including assigning workload and reviewing work.
  • Trains staff on programs such as e-record, Flowcast, IDX, Allscripts archive, Iron Mountain, and OnBase.
  • Maintains training checklists on all employees.
  • Resolves questions regarding unknown document types.
  • Creates new document types when appropriate.
  • Assists with daily Document Imaging duties as needed
  • Provides assistance to practices with document issues as needed.
  • Acts as back up for all staff as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree 3 years of customer service experience required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Health Information Management Systems preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
