Compensation Range:

$24.91 - $34.87

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE
Plans, coordinates and manages all phases of the University's Preventive Maintenance Program, including quality control, scheduling, prioritizing, estimating, planning, monitoring, advising and performance reporting. Schedules preventative maintenance to ensure Joint Commission Compliance. Works with mechanics to update equipment inventory as items are replaced or removed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assigns equipment ID’s, enters all data into FAMIS, works with the supervisors to assign and schedule PM’s, and labels the equipment with a barcode.
  • Works with the Commissioning Manager, PPM, and Construction Renovation group to capture all new builds, renovations, and demolitions.
  • Reviews all drawings and schedules and performs multiple site inspections throughout the duration of a project to ensure all new and removed equipment has been captured.
  • Schedules preventive maintenance to ensure Joint Commission Compliance.
  • Works with mechanics on a daily basis to update equipment inventory as items are replaced or removed.
  • Collaborates with mechanics and supervisors to update outdated task lists.
  • Inspects and directs the establishment of preventive maintenance policies and procedures for the operation of the program University- wide.
  • Ensures standards are met for quality and quantity in the planning, organization, and maintenance functions of University buildings.
  • Assigns Equipment Criticality Codes for all equipment.
  • Coordinates dates for PM scheduling with supervisors, planners, and mechanics.
  • Develops estimated hours by talking with supervisors, planners, and mechanics based on work and space availability and accessibility.
  • Provides evaluations involving overall performance of the preventive maintenance program.
  • Works closely with Facilities to ensure efficient maintenance practices.
  • Works closely with all Operations and Maintenance groups to ensure safe and efficient operating conditions of all University buildings.
  • Runs weekly reports to ensure 100% Preventive Maintenance completion rates.
  • Maintains computerized and other specifications files for new and existing equipment, as well as Manufacturer's operating manuals and data.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management or a related technical area and 1 year of experience utilizing a database preventive maintenance equipment program required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
