Please note: This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility to receive academic credit for their time interning with Wasserman, and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.

Job Overview

This position will assist the strategy team for branded projects on the Athlete Exchange team. This team helps manage and create branded and organic content for the digital properties of Wasserman athletes, as well as pitch and manage branded athlete content projects that include commercial production shoots, paid media management, and custom graphics or imagery creation.

What You'll Do

  • Help ideate & create athlete social media content and maintain detailed knowledge of team sports landscape

  • Help pitch for branded content partnerships for athletes including assisting with concept ideation, social post copywriting, and creating pitch decks

  • Assist with reporting on social media analytics, talent vetting, and agency roster management

  • Assist with team tasks and special projects as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Understanding of all social media platforms and their functions

  • Must have a strong interest in and knowledge of the sports industry, and preferably be immersed in and following professional athletes on social media

  • Prior marketing or sports industry experience preferred

  • Video production and editing experience preferred

  • Applicants must be organized, detail-oriented, be self-motivated, and enthusiastic. They must posses a professional attitude while demonstrating initiative and good communication skills

  • Candidates with strong writing skills, and copy writing, design, and/ or social media management experience strongly preferred

Internship Program Details

  • Must be able to earn college credit for an internship

  • Runs from January 27, 2026 –May 1, 2026

  • Pacific Time-zone candidates only

  • Los Angeles based candidates preferred

  • 20 hours per week (varies)
