The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Administrator position is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing sensitive information. They possess strong communication and multi-tasking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. They support the agency’s HR operations while fostering respectful, effective working relationships across diverse teams.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and process all employment termination documentation and employment verifications.
• Administer unemployment insurance claims, including gathering required information and responding to portal inquiries.
• Process and track division-specific background checks (CORI, DCF, fingerprinting, RMV, OIG, EPLS) for new hires and current staff.
• Interface with candidates and new hires in the process of obtaining background checks.
• Collaborate with management to provide required background check information for licensing audits and accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate and manage waiver request forms, approvals, and tracking expiration dates in accordance with agency policy.
• Develop and maintain proficiency in the agency’s current HRIS software.
• Provide HR support and customer service to staff and external providers.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources or related field required.
• High School diploma with significant relevant experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of two years of experience in human resources or compliance.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with UKGPro and Workforce Dimensions is a plus.

Schedule: Primarily in-person, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with some schedule flexibility.
