Hybrid: 3 times a week in the office

ETAP’s Automation Division is currently looking for smart, experienced, motivated Electrical Power Automation Engineer to design, test and support our industry-leading Real-Time and ADMS systems.

The Engineer will work across a variety of functional groups that are directly involved in engineering, product development, implementation, and international partners project support. The ideal candidate is an inventive problem solver that is capable of working through technical challenges and employing pragmatic solutions. Responsibilities - You will do:

  • Support development department with product design and testing

  • Work on ADMS and SCADA projects from inception to completion

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including GIS database management, automation engineering, power studies and IT to ensure successful project execution.

  • Design, configure and integrate ETAP Real-Time Solutions focused in Power Automation and ADMS.

  • Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects

  • Perform product technical guidance and support to project team members

  • Deliver ETAP ADMS trainings to integrators and end users

  • Support Business Development with Technical presentations and pre-sales designs

Qualifications - You will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on ADMS and SCADA systems.

  • Strong knowledge of SCADA communication protocols (e.g., DNP3, IEC 61850).

  • Experience with SCADA and HMI software (e.g., GE, Siemens, Schneider Electric).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • English proficiency - Advanced

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a Electrical Engineer focused on Distribution Network Analysis.

  • Familiar with ADMS modules such as state estimation, fault location isolation & restoration, volt-var control.

  • Experience with cybersecurity practices for SCADA systems.

  • Knowledge of utility operations and electrical distribution networks.

  • Experience in project onsite commissioning
