COO Operations & Governance Analyst

MSIG Europe
Netherlands, Belgium, Germany or France – Full-time
Main location: Brussels - or any other key office key location (with frequent travel across Western Europe)

Short Role Introduction

MSIG Europe is looking for a COO Operations & Governance Analyst to support COO-wide governance, cost oversight, and strategic initiatives across the COO domain. Following the merger of its European entities in 2025, the company is strengthening and professionalizing its operating model across Operations, IT and Data.

In this role, you will combine analytical and project skills to track costs, maintain governance and control processes, and prepare executive-level materials for boards and management committees. You will operate with both a strategic mindset and careful attention to detail, acting as a proactive sparring partner and driving initiatives forward from analysis to execution.

This role is particularly attractive for professionals seeking a transition from consulting into a business-focused transformation and operations environment, where they can apply their problem-solving skills and strategic experience to tangible operational impact.

Company Profile

MSIG Europe is a specialist Property & Casualty and Marine insurer with local teams operating across Europe and the UK. As experts in risk, we support clients and partners with bespoke and digitally traded insurance solutions.

MSIG Europe is part of the MS&AD Group, one of the world’s leading non-life insurance groups. The company is headquartered in Brussels, with major offices in Amstelveen, Rotterdam, Cologne and Paris.

Following the merger of the European entities in the summer of 2025, MSIG Europe has entered a new phase focused on strengthening and professionalizing its European operating model. A key priority for the organization is the further development and scaling of the COO domain, covering Operations, IT, Data and enterprise transformation initiatives across the business.

To support this journey, MSIG Europe is expanding its COO Office, which functions as the strategic hub for enterprise initiatives, connecting workstreams, ensuring alignment across functions and geographies, and maintaining executive-level oversight across the broader change portfolio.

Job Profile

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and structure executive-level materials for board meetings, management committees, and senior leadership forums
  • Track and manage end-to-end costs across Operations, IT, and Data, supporting the ongoing professionalization of financial transparency
