Manager: Chief Administrator, Health Services

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: Salary / Exempt

Job Summary: The Quality Manager is responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards across all health services programs. This role drives value-based care implementation, supports organizational readiness for audits and site visits, and champions data-driven strategies to enhance patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and program excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Makes recommendations to the Chief Administrator, Health Services, and the Vice President of Medical Services, on areas for process improvement.
  • Leads and oversees Value-Based Care initiatives to improve quality outcomes and operational performance.
  • Monitors and analyzes patient level data.
  • Serves as a CINI Task Force Representative, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
  • Participation in the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) implementation committee, providing guidance and ongoing support for certification and maintenance.
  • Support for Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting and related quality data activities.
  • Indiana Quality Improvement Network (IQIN) participation and coordination of programming requirements.
  • Operational Site Visit (OSV) support, as needed.
  • Coordinate and respond to document requests from federal and state agencies, as needed.
  • Reviews and maintains the Health Services policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Makes recommendations for the designs and implementation of internal quality improvement processes within Health Services.
  • Leads and supports program and process development initiatives.
  • Seeks the best use of materials, equipment, and staff to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Take pride and ownership in Damar’s facilities and assigned work areas.
  • Acts as a good steward of Damar and/or patient finances.
  • Utilizes data collection in relation to driving and tracking outcomes and achieving agency initiatives and goals.
  • Prioritize duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth.
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and Damar Operational Policies and Procedures Manual.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

 

Experience:

  • 2 years of management experience required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare quality management, compliance, or performance improvement, preferred.
  • Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
  •  

Equipment Familiarity: Proficiency in medical instruments and equipment.

 

Certifications, Licenses or Special Training:

  • Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.
  • Trauma informed care and de-escalation training.
  • Ability to pass and maintain CPR Certification. 
  • Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs as detailed in policy 1.HR.02 Pre-Employment and Employee Background Checks.
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical required.
