Overview
The Build-To-Test Planner is responsible for generating and overseeing work orders to identify inspection and test boundary procedures. Ensuring that all New Construction and Post Shakedown Availability meet safety, cost, quality, and scheduling standards for Columbia Class delivered products.
Specific responsibilities include:
- In depth knowledge of Planning; including Artemis Data Maintenance, Work Package Development, and Change Maintenance with the systems that support those processes.
- Responsible for inspection and test work packages that include all required Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) has been obtained among HII-NNS, Quonset Point and Groton.
- Maintain a strong interface with STO, Operations, Trades, Ships Management and other Planning departments in support of inspections, tests and OPCON of all HM&E, S&EP and Nuclear systems.
- Participate in the development of new Planning processes and update procedures accordingly.

Qualifications
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of EB/Shipyard experience in any of the following; Operations Shipboard Test (dept 272), Planning, Design, Materials, Inspection, or Quality assurance
Preferred:
- 1+ years of experience with TIRs & Construction drawings
- 1+ years of experience using MRPII, EWP/PCM, and Artemis
- 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD
