Overview

The Senior Manager of Operations will be responsible for oversight and execution of Supermodules 4, 5, and 6.

Essential functions include:

• Avoid non-compliance and drive quality by monitoring the overall quality performance using metrics and applying corrective actions to address deficiencies 
• Achieve cost and schedule objectives
• Demonstrated disciplines to safety standards
• Accountable to manage through lower management levels and has responsibility of multiple product lines
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in critical Outfitting business functions
• Responsible for strategic Outfitting and supporting resource planning
• Interface and interact with peers, executive staff, customer (internal and external) and senior leaders concerning matters of significance
• Responsible for oversight of multiple Operations managers, Area Superintendents and Supervisors

This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI location

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Minimum 3 years as Manager
• Strong Outfitting experience and knowledge of deck and module construction delivery
• 10 years of relevant experience in shipbuilding, manufacturing, construction or related field(s)
• Proficiency in project planning and resource manning
• Proficiency with blueprints, MRP, EWP Artemis and EVM 
• Computer skills including MS Office and Project 
• Available to work all shifts including extended hours and weekends as business needs dictate
• Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Leadership experience in CLB Aft-End outfitting
