Overview

Temporary Services General Foreman (GF) will report directly to the Manager of Operations (D237).

The Temp Services GF is responsible to interact with cognizant Ships Management, Steel Trades, Pipe Trades, and other organizations to safely and cost effectively provide the proper equipment needed to support submarine construction.

The best qualified candidate will be able to manage the design, build, test, installation and maintenance of Temp Electrical, Temp Ventilation, Equipment Control Center (ECC), tool cribs and welding pre-heat.

Skills

• A broad understanding of electrical theory
• A broad understanding of welding methods, techniques and equipment

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 7+ years trade experience
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisor role

Preferred:

• Trade Experience: Electrical and/or Welding
• Trade/technical school or college degree is desirable
• Navy Experience
