Job Purpose:

  • To support Operations by performing inbound and outbound shipment coordination duties

Essential Job Duties:

  • Organization and retention of Sales Orders/Purchase Orders including any alterations to said orders
  • Written and oral communication with all departments to ascertain information insuring accurate shipment of product
  • Utilize delivery systems, i.e. UPS, FEDEX, DHL, TNT, or Freight Forwarders, to ship product worldwide
  • Research issues regarding product, i.e. delivery, Purchase orders/Sales orders, and discern a solution 
  • Employ Glovia to invoice, transfer, add/remove product to Sales Orders/Purchase Orders, etc.
  • Use Microsoft Office suite to complete reports and maintain organization
  • Prepare documentation for storage and future research
  • Deliver invoice and shipping documentation to trader via email

Job Qualifications

Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Knowledge of carriers and freight forwarders a plus (PostNL, DHL, GLS, etc.)

Education:

  • High School/Equivalent

Software Requirements:

 

  • MS Word and Excel required

 

Physical Demands: Ability to move loads of up to 15kg
